Nero von Neisky is a gorgeous 6-7 year old X-large German Shepherd. Many are intimidated by this sweet boy’s large size, not realizing that he’s just a soft-hearted gentle giant. For his size, Nero walks amazingly well on leash, often turning back around to make sure you with him. He especially likes when you pet his big head during the walk. Nero is mid-energy and most excited when he is leaving his kennel for his walk; he is generally one of the most well-behaved boys we have. He meets dogs well on leash and likes to walk close to his handler. Our volunteers and kennel staff are entirely smitten by this sweet giant, who has such a wonderful temperament. Our social boy meets dogs excellently on or off leash. In playgroups he tolerates some of our pushy, high-energy females and also does well with the nice, friendly males. With his friendly, easy-going personality, Nero would fit right into any home. But since he loves to snuggle, he hopes that his new bed is big enough for the both of you.
